We welcome your baby from 6 weeks to 24 months.
We understand that working hours create the need for an earlier drop-off and later pick-up time. We will work with you to make the best child care schedule for you and your family.
In addition to the CPR-certified Care Givers, a Registered Nurse takes care of health concerns, Monday through Friday during school hours.
This option is available to our babies who begin to eat table foods and enter the toddler stages. If you choose our hot lunch program, your baby will enjoy homemade, hot catered lunches in age-appropriate
portions for a nominal fee.
We will work with you for either a part-time or full-time schedule with affordable fees for loving, quality, child care.
Our Child Care Center room is uniquely situated adjacent to an early childhood playground area that is enclosed by four classroom walls but open to the fresh air above. It is best of having outdoor access in a most secure, safe environment.
As your baby grows into the toddler months, we have the unique ability to bring the children to Hovnanian School early education, music, and physical education classes.
Upon registration at HSCCC, you will receive an invitation to download the Canary© security APP which gives our parents the capability to see their children throughout the day, giving them peace of mind.
We are a private, not-for-profit, non-sectarian, co-educational day school accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. Classes range from our EPS through the Eighth grade. (We also have our Hovnanian School Child Care Center on the premises for children under 2 years of age.) Professional multilingual instruction in English, Armenian, and French is offered from the earliest grades through the transitional years of junior high school.
We accept all applicants for our Child Care Center through the Eighth grade. Any child who has turned 3 years old by September 30th, may apply for our Nursery program. EPS, Nursery, and Pre-Kindergarten are not considered as day care, but rather as classes of active instruction, where students learn through age-appropriate activities. If the number of qualified applicants exceed available spaces, priority is given to full time students as well as siblings of a student enrolled in Hovnanian School. A waitlist is available, and we do offer rolling admissions throughout the year if and when spots are available.
No. We welcome anyone who is willing to learn the language! We offer Armenian remediation programming for students entering any grade beyond early childhood where we meet students where they are at. Students do not need to come in with any previous knowledge of the language but must be open to participating and engaging in the content. Any student registered to attend Hovnanian School can also arrange 1:1 private tutoring with our tenured Armenian faculty.
Hovnanian School offers transportation services to its students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Currently we have buses that cover specific areas in New Jersey, Manhattan and Westchester. Transportation reimbursement is available from most towns for students beginning in Kindergarten.
