Hovnanian School Child Care Center is a private, nonsectarian, full-time Child Care Center providing quality child care to Bergen County and Northern New Jersey families since 2015. We provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for your child. We focus on the individual child and promote her/his social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. We aim to provide your family with an effective and harmonious collaboration when it comes to your greatest treasure.
We have certified care givers in CPR and First Aid, a full Canary brand camera system, secure sign in and sign out, and outdoor walk and play areas as the seasons change.
The facility is also equipped with age-appropriate books and toys.

At Hovnanian School Child Care Center, we understand that children are great learners. Play time is very important for children since they learn through play. We aim to provide a stimulating, developmentally appropriate environment for your baby that encompasses the different learning styles of children.
We believe that a sense of security and self confidence are essential to a child’s and baby’s emotional growth. HSCCC gives our children lots of cuddles, love, and individual attention so they feel safe and secure.
Our goal, with your help, is to create a nurturing and friendly community. The parent caregiver communication is an important part of our ongoing relationship. When a new family is admitted into HSCCC, we like to be sure that all concern and questions can openly be shared. We will always welcome question and/or feedback that are oriented towards a positive outcome for the child(ren).
Every community has its code of behavior to ensure that each individual can thrive securely and safely. Part of the growing process is the recognition of such rules and learning to live by them. Each child comes to Hovnanian School Child Care Center from a different family background with different ways of dealing with behavioral expectations. Our role at HSCCC is to set a fair code which is consistent and that all children grow to observe.
We maintain and encourage a positive redirection policy. Positive discipline (applicable to the toddler age group). Positive discipline focuses on prevention, setting firm limits and consistency. Young children do not understand the concept of punishment. Therefore, if inappropriate behavior occurs in the Child Care Center it will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
As your child continues to grow we will encourage them to empathize with one another and understand the consequences of their actions. Respect for other people and property will be routinely explained and taught in an age-appropriate manner.
